Our company is 100% family owned and operated, in addition to that we are also 100% kiwi owned and operated! Our story started when Chris Hurdley bought a furniture store with his father in 1971. It was called Hollands, and when they bought it in 1971 it was a small company with six total staff members and, by the time it was sold in 1996, it had over eighty employees.
Then in 2010 Chris decided to open a new office furniture store with his wife Di and son Adam, and he put his name on the door! The idea being to continue the passion for office furniture done right, with a family run business based on morals, straight talking, and putting the customer first all while maintaining the same level of professionalism instilled from Hollands.
Now we have a strong online presence making it easier than ever to buy home office furniture online, from chairs to home office desks and more! We believe in always doing better, and setting the industry standard for quality.
